We are a large team of more than 900 colleagues working in a group of sister companies in France, Germany, Romania and Spain. Our colleagues come from more than 20 different countries and speak a wide range of native languages. In addition to diversity, interdisciplinary skills, soft skills and technical knowledge are important to us – our different backgrounds range from linguistics, mechanics and engineering up to business administration and project management. Together, we support our customers in the aerospace, naval, energy, medical technology, automotive and railway industries.

  • ATEXIS provides support for highly complex systems, such as aircraft, trains, power plants and tankers, through their entire lifecycle, from the design phase until decommissioning. With all our services, our aim is to improve the performance of those systems, which means finding a balance between the operational performance, availability and costs, which is optimal for our customers. This goal can be achieved with a variety of services, including Technical Documentation, Material Data Management, Configuration and Technical Data Management, RAMS, Maintenance Engineering, Technical Training, and In-Service Support.

  • An important element of our services is Technical Documentation, which is vital to ensure the safe handling of highly complex machinery. For example, the material and maintenance documentation we create on behalf of our customers enables aircraft mechanics all over the world to guarantee safe travel on airplanes.

Generally, our active involvement in social responsibility and team building differs from country to country, but we have one thing in common: Every year we have two major team events in each country which all colleagues are invited to attend. In the summer, we try to get together outside in a relaxed atmosphere, and in December, we celebrate at Christmas parties. Both events are a good opportunity to get to know your colleagues better. Depending on the country and team, there are also other events, including miniature golf, pumpkin carving, photo contests, etc.

In addition, we try to get our teams together regularly, to keep everyone updated on company news. In Germany, for example, there are regular national telephone conferences followed by a shared breakfast.

We support local and international charities through our involvement in a variety of different events and campaigns in every country.

The HSH Nordbank Run – a 4-km charity run to support the Kinder helfen Kindern (Children Helping Children) organization – raises funds to finance membership fees in sports clubs for children from disadvantaged families. Usually, 20-25% of our colleagues participated in the run, and some of our employees even traveled from Rostock and Bavaria to Hamburg for the event.

Our office in Iasi (Romania) regularly participates in events such as the Swimathon and Let’s Do It Romania. The Swimathon is a fundraising event where participants swim in order to raise money for local projects with the goal of improving the city and local facilities. Let’s Do It Romania is a nationwide action day to clean up Romania’s streets and parks.

We also support charities in smaller ways: In our office in Hamburg, for example, the only water we offer our visitors comes from Viva con Aqua, a German charity campaigning for clean drinking water worldwide.
